the day started with a later wakeup than normal for practice and I am so grateful to get some extra sleep in! i woke up, got dressed for practice, and made a smoothie full of berries, yogurt, protein powder, and almond milk. then I headed over to practice at 8:30 to get taped.
9:30-12:30
practice! rolled my ankle this day, so not a great day but that is okay!low days make the high days feel even better!
12:45-1:45 team cardio
1:45-2:15 treatment
2:15- 3:45 time at home
made some lunch, showered, and honestly laid in bed until I had to leave again lol!
4-6 volunteering
my coach is a part of a local organization that runs a thrift store, so my team will go through boxes of donations and mark them to be put up for sale. we play music, hangout, and get the work done!
6-6:30 at home
quickly go home after volunteering to eat dinner and get changed into my work clothes
7-11:30 work
work as a patient care tech at a local hospital. this was actually one of the worst shifts I’ve ever had, but I got through it and it was only four hours anyways.
midnight-home
finally home and in bed for the night. I definitely went on tiktok for a while to chill before going to sleep. overall, a very productive day, but also very busy and not a good practice or shift, but thats the reality of college athletics and healthcare!
