chocolate soufflé baked oats

the absolute best breakfast for a slow morning🤍

I made the batter the night before and popped it in the oven the next morning for a chocolate lovers breakfast that is fuel of carbs and protein to fuel a full day!

the deats:

  • 2 tbsp cool whip (can sub yogurt)
  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • optional- 1 tbsp maple syrup and a handful of chocolate chips

method:

  • combine all ingredients and let it sit overnight
  • if batter is too thick in the morning, add 1 tbsp of almond milk (it should still be fairly thick and not runny!)
  • pour into a greased oven safe dish and bake at 400 for 26-30 minutes, go closer to 30 minutes if you want the texture to be more cakey
  • add some powdered sugar on top and enjoy:)
