the absolute best breakfast for a slow morning🤍
I made the batter the night before and popped it in the oven the next morning for a chocolate lovers breakfast that is fuel of carbs and protein to fuel a full day!
the deats:
- 2 tbsp cool whip (can sub yogurt)
- 2/3 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- optional- 1 tbsp maple syrup and a handful of chocolate chips
method:
- combine all ingredients and let it sit overnight
- if batter is too thick in the morning, add 1 tbsp of almond milk (it should still be fairly thick and not runny!)
- pour into a greased oven safe dish and bake at 400 for 26-30 minutes, go closer to 30 minutes if you want the texture to be more cakey
- add some powdered sugar on top and enjoy:)
